I own a Period Question...
I've recently started taking a birth control pill (Microgynon 30) and am very soon in the 7 day break from taking the pills. I started my extent this morning which seemed perfectly mundane but this afternoon, i noticed that there seem to be a rather large clot (probably in the order of 2inches by 1 inch) which looked like skin rather than a clot. I know that during a spell, the lining of the womb is shed but have never experienced such a huge clot (i'm 29 so have have relatively a few periods by now...)
I thought that it may fluctuate to a normal period as i've single just started taking the pill.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Answers: no.
Hi Just forget it , these things come up to women who take pills and this clot is nothing compared to women who regularly gain the clots. This is basically due to the fact that blood might own been in the uterus for longer time for to clot. Possibly you may not be have much of carmps which usually helps to push out the uterus contents yup- as I got elder I got more clots with my spell. For me it didnt matter if I was on the pill or not. I hold PCOS too and I always thought it was related to that. Obviously not! I asked my doc more or less it before and she said it was usual. They dont worry about clots unless your term is way out of wack. It could just be that you we immobile for a while and the blood clotted on its own. I wouldnt worry about it, it sounds commonplace, and I dont think the pill had anything to do next to it..
yes i have had clots of adjectives kinds, bright red, burgandy red, brown, clumpy, as many times as i've be scared and worried that its something else, my OBGYN always assured me that its typical and part of what comes with our period. yes , i think . . .
