I had the same problem next to it. Which is so ironic as I had it put in to stop the long strapping periods. My GP took it out for me and I am now on Transexamic Acid to weaken the amount of blood loss. Awaiting hysterectomy.

were you sexually active previously the procedure? were you tested for pregnancy first? it is possible that if you were pregnant it cause a misscarriage. It would be best to talk to your doctor.
