I have period pains all the time, both during after and before. im always in pain?
Answers: I had this problem when I was younger and its best to speak to a doctor about it, they'll have more information. I went and saw a doctor and she said it could be a few different things. One is just a case of severve period pains and theres not alot you can do about it, it should stop in your mid 20's. Another is endometriosis which is where tissue from your uterus detaches and is found outside your uterus, usually found on the outside of your bladder. This means that when you get your period you bleed internally, outside of your uterus. Unfourtunately the only way they can diagnose this is with a 'Diagnostic Laparoscopy' which is where they make a small incision by your belly button and another a little lower down and expand your abdoman with gas and insert a tiny camera inside to have a look around. They found a small patch of endometriosis, and a cyst attached to my bladder and removed it. Now my periods are fine and I hardley ever get pain!
Hope this has helped a little, although your best bet is to talk to a doctor or gynocologist about it. =).
If this has been happening for a while it is time for your GP to refer you the hospital and the gynaecologist. The pill in theory should make things better but as you are experiencing doesn't always, therefore the gynaecology department can investigate further and make sure everything is alright.
Do not suffer in silence, you have a right to get refered, but sometimes have to ask.
Take care
.
go on the injection my girlfriend had thoose problems and it works wonders. It stops you having a period altogether and you have the injection every 3 months.
Also if you have a long term partner no need for comdons..
