I am almost 23 so I have been getting my period for about 4 years now. I didn't know almost womenanswers.org back then so I never really found out how adjectives or uncommon it was to start so unsettled. I developed about average as far as breast and that sort of thing. I go to the doctor back then and they couldnt find anything that be causing me not to have it.

I really want to know if anyone else can relate to this. Could it play some factor into me have kids down the road even though Ive been getting them on a fairly regular reason?

some people just start subsequently than others which is perfectly normal. no it won't affect have children down the road. you'll be ok it's normal

I was 16,and so be my mom,but my daughter was 13,so it all depends on your mother,usually it starts around alike age your mother was,in my experience, I would not ponder it is a huge deal,just be glad it solitary started at 19,unless the doc says differently,be happy bout that one girl.
you should be capable of have kids no problem,but ask a doc that one for sure.

Totally Confused?

Every boy and girl goes through adolesence at different times.

Examples.. Males who grow moustaches at 13, and others who don't start until 18. Growth spurts. Or even breast growth. I'm turning 20 this year and they're still growing. =)
