I am going on birth control via Planned Parenthood, do I hold to share my regular physician, too?

What does everyone do in the order of fuzz "u know where"?
If it's only for a general checkup, you can probably get by beside not saying anything. But keep within mind, some medications can affect Birth Control Pills, so if you are going to the doc for an illness it might label a difference. For example, antibiotics can greatly affect how well the pill works. If you are getting meds, ask the doctor if there are any interactions only just in case. I know this is a touchy situation for you. You sound like you hold a good head on your shoulders getting yourself protected from unwanted pregnancy, honest job! I understand how you want to hold on to this on the hush-hush, just be aware and do some research if you can't ask the doc. Or, another option is to bid Planned Parenthood if you are on other meds.
You're 17, leave your parents in the waiting room. Or corner the nurse or doc privately when you seize a chance and request some privacy. They will kindly ask your parents to dawdle for you. You have to tell the doctor, yes, because they other need to know what you are taking to avoid a drug interaction with anything else they may prescribe for you. For instance, if your regular doc give you something as seemingly harmless as antibiotics and doesn't know that you are also on the pill, he can't warn you within advance to use a backup method of birth control since antibiotics weaken the value of your pill. Then could you imagine having to relate them that your PREGGERS! You have to tell your doc.
When and if should I start thinking in the order of a pregnancy experiment?
You stipulation to tell your pysician and be open and honest because if they don't know you're on it, and prescribe you medication, that could counter horribly with the medication. If you feel that self-conscious, ask your parents to leave the room because everything you speak to a doctor about is confidential. Although, I'd try to be initiate with your parents so you don't so bad just about hiding this from them.*clears throat* Personal query, would prefer if single feminine come..?
You need to tell your doctor you are on it, no business what. You shouldn't have to have your parents dance to the doctor with you anymore and if they do ask they stay in the waiting room. Your doctor cannot administer anyone (including family) info about your health, etc. short your written permission.
You do HAVE to tell them...your primary protection physican should know about that!.
I remember when i was 17, they kicked my mom out of the room to ask me personal question like that =]...or you can request that they do that...
why not have ur parents know, you are PRACTICING SAFER SEX!?!
you're 17, which mechanism you are TOO YOUNG to support a child..you are doing a good thing for yourself...
butttttt even if you explain to your Dr. they cannot tell your parents...
absolutely cannot..especially if you request they dont..
but as for your parents, disappear them in the waiting room, tell them your a big girl =]
If they tested your hormones they might know how to detect it but I am not sure, maybe tell the doctor you don't want your parents to know but you are on the pill, after he wouldnt be able to tell your parents.
Tell your doctor, this process if he ever needs to prescribe any meds for you he can do so without bloodshed you.
