How much mass should i lose?

iam 16 years old. 5'8" ahtletic girl and i weigh...172... as of 3 days ago i am now drinking lately water everyday, eatin salads and healthy foods, going to my softball practice next going home and running 2 miles and biking 2 miles with 150 crunches and 100 pushups. and on thursdays and mondays i work out in the bulk room...how much weight should i be losing a week? and how long? i want to weigh about 140...and explicitly about 30 pounds.i just really inevitability some help cause i really want to lose it.and i want to lose 30 pounds contained by about 2 months or so?? i dont know! help me! =[

Then those say that they want to loose weight they really stingy adipose tissue (fat). But fat in the body have many important functions as a source of joie de vivre, as an insualator and body temp regulator, as a cushion for vital organs (kidneys and eyes for one!), as a storage place for vital hormones and minerals (estrogen etc.). In certainty, females need apprx. a min. of 20% fat contained by their body (males can go lower, down to single digits).

So if you want to loose weight, kind sure it's excessive fat. In general, if you're loosing too much shipment per week (say more than 2-5 lbs/week), you're really loosing water and perhaps even muscle tissue (equals=real desperate!).

The goals that you have set up for yourself near the good work-out program sound awfully good. I would just swing the work-out in order to avoid injury (say, next you run one day, ride the bike the next daylight to give your joints a accident to rest), build in swiming and perhaps weightiness lifting as well. You are probably more muscular than most girls, and so you will always weigh a bit more than them.

hold on to in mind that muscle weighs more afterwards fat! in more or less 2 months you will look like you lost about 40 pounds but you will probably weigh impossible to tell apart

I know just how you discern. I play basketball and i am about 5'11". towards the middle of the school year I concluded up weighing around 195. But i'm happy to say-so i'm almost back to my starting weight of 175. I still want to lose a short time more to become healthier though. All I have to say aloud is be patient. Losing 30lbs in 2 months, adjectives though it is possible, is very unhealthy. If you be to lose weight to fast, you most potential would gain it back and then some. I studious this the hard way. Its a angelic thing your reverting to good foods but don't completely get rid of some of your old foods out of your diet. You'll find that when you stop eating these foods and afterwards have the opportunity to eat these foods again you will binge on them. So threat yourself every so habitually. I suggest eating healthier foods but more importantly cutback your food intake but not too dramatically. And please don't over do it with the exercise, do half of your workout plan( 1 mile of running and biking each) 1-2 times a week at most. and allow your body to rest, it pushes itself plenty at your practices. PS. a simple way to backing you lose weight is to stop eating 3-4 hours past you go to bed.
