How long should I depart a tampon within? What is the best tampon brand to use?

I have heard different opinion about how long to leave it surrounded by. I mean my mom said 3 hours but some other websites said 6 and 8. And I am not sure which tampon to use. I have tried copious over the years but not many seem to pop at me. And when I carry a box i have to use the whole one earlier I try a new one. Please help ladies. Thanks.

Answers:    There is no "right" answer for the minimum of how long but in attendance is a VERY right answer for the maximum. You should never wear a tampon for more than 8 hours because it increases the small, but serious, risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome.

When a tampon has absorbed adjectives it can, you might notice leaking or spotting. It can also start slipping a bit and may grain like it is uncomfortably low.

And I'm sorry it's not a more helpful answer, but the "best" brand is the brand that you find comfortable and that best fits your flow and wishes. Every brand's "Regular" is going to be a little different in vocabulary of width, length and materials/weaving. There's no short cut to trying a few and seeing what you think.

Personally, I don't close to those flower-petal plastic applicators so I've never been a fan of Playtex and the similar to. For me - Tampax - Super and Slender Regular.

I understand your annoyance with the "integral box" issue. Do you have best friends or female relatives that might be of a mind to do some product comparison "swapping"?? Trading 4-5 of your brand for 4-5 of their brand is a great way for both of you to try a new brand in need getting stuck with a whole box. I've terminated up doing this by accident now and again when I've be caught unprepared on a trip or on an outing and while annoying, at least I got to try something current and see if it worked for me..
Every box of tampons tell you the right time to leave them surrounded by. I use and would suggest Tampax Pearl Plastic because cardboard applicators suck and because the Pearls have a better shape than any of the other plastic applicators. Also, the tampon itself expands width-wise instead of length-wise so it gives you more protection against leak and whatnot.
The Pearl tampon instructions tell you to leave them contained by no longer than 6-8 hours. I asked my Gyn this question and he said 6-8 hrs. I always downfall up changing it whenever I go to the bathroom though, because I basically don't feel very verbs if I leave it after I've peed on it. But it is safe to sleep contained by them. I've been using tampons for 20 years and have never have a problem. My favorite brand is OB because I hate the applicators. With OB, you can stick them in your pocket, and within is no bloody applicator in your bathroom garbage can. Before I switched to OB, my favorite brand be Kotex with the plastic applicators. They were the easiest to put within and never leaked..
You can leave them contained by for the most 8 hours. I use playtex sport they work very well, and I am thinking almost trying playtex gentle glide. they come near plastic applicators so its easier to insert. and there are websites that you can get free sample of about 3 tampons why dont you order some.. they are free and they carry mailed to you then you can agree on from there which ones to use that way you dont own to buy a whole box and waste your money because you dont approaching them

Well the easiest too slip in is,

platex gentle soar,

or
tampax pearl,

but always use plastic aplicators.

because the are the easiest too get surrounded by, cardboard will seem a bit uncomfterable,

and also you should leave next in for about 3-6 hours.

that opening you wont have too go through the process of bleeding through,

and if your going out somewhere.

where on earth a tampon AND a pad.

that way if you bleed through.

it wont show!.
It depends on how robust your flow is and the absorbency tampon you use.

When my flow is heavy and I use Super, I have to silver every three hours or else I risk accidents. Later I switch to Regular when my length is lighter and change every 6 hours.

I use Playtex Gentle Glide..
take it out when its full but if it starts leak before 2 hours or is full before 2 hours receive the next absorbency up...try tampax compact or playtex sport dnt use ob there crap ... but clear sure do not leave it in more than 8 hours if at 8 hours it is not full use a lower absorbancy i individually like playtex gentle skim, but it's the only kind i enjoy tried.

you can leave them in from 3-8 hours. it basically depends.
the longest would be 4 hours and it depends how heavy or light your flow is bacause you dont want to embezzle a chance leaking. tampax pearl's suitable. depending on your flow.
i like tampax pearl the best..
i would say 2hrs
