How do you use a tampon?
Answers: Well, if you can't grasp your finger in, then you won't know how to get the tampon in. I would suggest taking a hip bath, as the water will make it easier after, and try to ease your finger into your vagina. Make sure you are pusing in the right place, etc. You hold to be comfortable doing this or it won't work with a tampon.
Since you are a virgin, then your hymen may still be intact. This can brand name wearing tampons more difficult for some girls. See how far your finger goes in. If it lone goes in more or less half-way, then be aware that that's as far as you'll probably get a tampon within, so you may only be able to use the ultra-lights..
That hole go on for a while so you should be able to put it in. But then again, if youre feeling tense, it may trade name the hole tense too and make it harder to put it within.
So just relax. The easiest way to do it is to put your foot up higher than the toilet or bath as if you were to help yourself to the first step on a set of stairs and then put it in, or basically to lie down and spread your legs to put it in.

Don't let empire tell you that virgins can't use tampons, either. They're any guys or idiots. First, if you are a virgin you need to get smaller tampons so that they will fit. Playtex Sport tampons are the ones I use, and I am impressively small thirteen year old girl.
The reason you can't bring anything in is because your hymen is in the approach. Just gently push and move your finger around very conscientiously in all different angles until you find the space. Usually you should aim more vertically and start slightly higher. You need to relax, or your muscles will stressed up and stop anything from entering.
For simple ways to put a tampon in, try
- sitting on the edge of the toilet or a stool and spreading your legs
- standing with one foot on the edge of the toilet or a bench
- sitting with your legs straight to the sides on the floor
If you use a tampon with a plastic applicator it will slide within more smoothly than one without an applicator or one with a cardboard applicator.
Put the tip of the tampon against your vagina. Gently push it into the nouns at the angle that feels most comfortable. (This may take a few tries. You can other pull it out and start over.) Slide the smaller tube of the applicator into the larger tube, if there is an applicator. Make sure you go off the string or extra gauze outside of your body so you can remove the tampon. Pull out the applicator and throw it in the bin or flush it, depending on the material.
Move around a bit, and prefer if the tampon is positioned correctly or if it is too uncomfortable and you need to try again. It may touch a bit strange at first, but you get used to the feeling. If it is sore, though, you either need to try a different angle or a different brand of tampons. If the tampon is too big it can hurt!

You can use tampons when you're a virgin. I started using them when I was 13! My advice is to use one beside a plastic applicator, they glide much easier. Cardboard ones are miserable. My personal choice is OB, but that takes some getting used to. For you, I would recommend Kotex. Start next to the junior or regular size until you are comfortable using them. Lean back on the toilet with your legs spread apart and slowly insert. Once you own it inserted to the rim of the tampon, push the applicator until it reaches the end. It will hold a few times to get the hang of it. You will know it's contained by correctly if you can't feel it. Practice pushing the applicator a few times, before you truly use one. Also, make sure you are relaxed. After a few times, you'll get used to it, and will never want to turn back to pads again! lol
