How do you bring birth control pills when at college? Can a nonspecific doctor prescribe it or must it be a gyn?

I really don't want my parents to know, so I have to get them beforehand I leave college... help me!

As far as swallowing pills,,I have indistinguishable problem..I take a bite of pudding or applesauce and then put the pill contained by my mouth and swallow it all at once,and no problems at all doing it that approach.
