Hormone inequity. What doctor do I obligation? OHSU?

I have a hormone imbalance. I hold for many years. I am a 26 year old feminine. Doctors cant decide if I have Polycystic ovarian syndrome or not. I am not over weightiness, yet I have be gaining lately. I am on the slimmer side. Everytime I have my FSH and LH level checked my LH is very high and my FSH is impressively low. My testosterone is also towards the high level. They dont judge I am ovulating. I do not want to just be put on birth control pills. they also found a small pituitary adenoma on an mri. I am told that it is not doing anything though because it is too small and hasnt changed in a couple of years. I do not attain regular periods without man on some sort of medication. I am now using Natural progesterone cream and that seems to be working fine to draw from a period. I have stomach problems where on earth It feels like I cant breathe exceptionally well in my upper tummy, and I have a little bloat around my waist stripe, its almost as if I have a constant nervous stomach. I have a colonoscopy and an endoscopy which were both normal. She said she think my problems there are linked to my hormones. Also surrounded by the last 5 years I have lost economically over half of my hair on my scalp. And individual on my scalp. It used to be really thick. Now I can hardly cover my unharmed head with what I enjoy left.

I want to see a doctor at OHSU because I am not getting anywhere with the doctors surrounded by my town. They just want to treat my symptoms and put me on birth control. I will not do that. I spent a few years on them already and they made me a wreck. I want to find a doctor who will find the cause of my problems. I basically dont know what kind of a specialst I need. I own seen an Endocrinologist and a OBGYN before who also considered necessary to put me on Birth control. Any advice will help. I am getting desperate. I am wanting children surrounded by the near future, but beside the way things are right now, its not on because of my hormones. If I do end up getting pregnant I am told that I will most likely hold a miscarriage.

Answers:    I am dealing with PCOS myself. I am scheduled for a hysterectomy, but am considering other option now because that won't cure it. Have they mentioned using Metformin (aka Glucophage) to help treat it? PCOS can exact insulin resistance and this helps with that and the testosterone problem. I enjoy been reading a lot something like it lately because I am considering this myself. I'll list a couple of the pages I hold found, but you can search Metformin for PCOS and find others. Good luck!!.
if it is truly a hormonal imbalance after I have to say that an endocrinologist is your best bet. while you may not enjoy been satisfied beside the last one you saw, I would urge you to find another, as I have even so to find a pair of doctors that agreed on anything.
