I'm 16. I finished my period last hours of darkness. this about an hour ago I showered and I douched to clean myself out. but presently I'm bleeding! I filled up a tampon in five minutes! it's seeming to slow down presently though,,it's not bleeding as heavy. What happened? HOw can I variety it stop? and if it stops bleeding soon would it be safe to have sex next? Would I start bleeding again?

I know!, you weren't really done with your period. fresh blood found the vagina clear since you'd douched, and seem to flood out because no older blood and uterine lining be there to slow it down.

Also, FWIW, there's no medical justification to douche unless your gynecologist recommends it for some medical condition. The notion that you need "cleaning" here is without any basis.

You can own sex when you haven't bled for 48 hours, or even during your period if the possible mess can be dealt near.

its normal to stop your period for a dark or even a whole 24 hours and then start vertebrae up again. However, if you have bled so much that you have soaked through a tampon surrounded by 5 minutes then you need to dance to the er. good luck and god bless
