Gyno vs. Reproductive specialist
Answers: Unless you are actually trying to obtain pregnant right now, I would not see a reproductive specialist. If you don't want to see just a regular OB/GYN, in attendance are other specialists you could see. For example, I have had oodles problems with pelvic pain and calorific bleeding between periods. I started out just seeing a regular OB/GYN, but she didn't do anything to lend a hand me so I switched. I'm now seeing an OB/GYN who is an endometrial specialist, which is a doctor that deals beside problems with the uterus and things like that. You could try seeing a regular OB/GYN and if it doesn't work out, you could ask them to refer you to a specialist. Good luck!!.
It depends. If you are trying to take pg or plan to in the near adjectives, I would ask to be referred to a Reproductive specialist. However, if you are not ttc, a general gyno is fine. I go to my gyno for my "regular" womanly problems, but when it comes to my fertility issues, I see an Reproductive Endocrinologist. Yes, Polyps can affect fertility.
