Answers: Planned Parenthood will do Gyno exams and you dont need a parent. You shouldn't own to have a parent to just step to a regular Gyno either..
You should be able to access a GP or Gynecologist short parental supervision or another person.
Depending what you are going in for, your parents hold the right to know what medicines / treatments the doctors prescribe for you, however this is different in every country or state. (i dont know where on earth you are from)
In Australia, you can go to a doctor by yourself from the age of 16 and the doctor has long-suffering confidentiality with you and cannot tell your parents or anyone else, anything in the order of your medical conditions without your consent.
Im not sure how it works in other places. I regard America is pretty conservative in some states..
A female requirements to be present during your exam... whether that be an aunt, your mom, a nurse.
You can also go to Planned parenthood for an exam if you want to hold the information to yourself without your doctors knowledge. Though its best to enjoy your doctor refer you to one so that the gynecologist knows your medical background..
