Grey hair at aged 18?

Hi there,

I've been getting the bizarre gray hair every now and again since i be about 16, now i appear to be getting more and more single gray hairs coming through my hairline.

Is my hair going gray? Or is it alright for me to simply have a few here n there due to stress etc? (I've be going through a lot of personal trauma since the age 15)

Answers:    Hair grows white when the color pigment (melanin) ceases to be produced within the hair follicle and small air spaces embezzle its place. Check out http://useinfo-grayhair.blogspot.com/ for more info on gray hair.

my mam started going grey at 18. i got a few grey hair when i was 16 last year i put them down to exam stress and did'nt find anymore until a moment ago recently and have put it down to A'level exam stress. i don't muse you need to go to the doctors however the trauma your chitchat about does seem to be taking a big toll on you. I don`t know you should go to the doctors and they can maybe aid you chill out or something. I have heard that this could be due to stress as you are so childish. But I'm not sure if this is true so perhaps get support from your doctor. I am now 32. I had my first grey hackle at 27 and did not expect that. Since then they seem to mupltiply respectively year.

At first I used to pull my grey hairs out beside tweezers. Now I dye my hair. I use a non permanent hackle dye as it doesn't damage your hair as much.

I don't know why it happen but i know allot of people who have gone grey thoroughly very early on within life, most of them, completely grey haired by 18, you are lucky to only attain a few lol, it has no actual medical effect on them and i doubt it is from stress, and trauma has no effect on quill colour. look... females start the aging process at around 16-18. i wouldnt worry about gray hair. its normal if you have a few at this age.
if you see the number of grey hair increase drastically over the next few months visit a doctor.
and yes stress my contribute to grey pelt but not on a large scale.
not to verbs though
:).
Well pretty much everyone has a few grey hairs, i have 1, when i was around 13-14 and, yes it may be coursed by stress as well, but its zilch to worry about! i hope i help you. :) <3 Stress can contribute to grey hair, but relax, it isn't as bad as pelt loss.
Some people have it contained by their genes to go grey early, but you'd know..
There is 2 reason you are getting gray hairs 1)You are getting old it is not that or 2)You are WAY too stressed Just relax more and do some sport or yoga it will really give a hand trust me My friend has dark down and she had white hairs at 14. I give attention to it's hereditary so it depends on when your family started getting white hair. .
Hey Its not that your old but i think its any stress or just common
dont verbs about it plenty or hairdye :) you could see a doc if your still wondering. people do in reality start to get a very small amount of grey hair when there in their teens but if you own dark hair it shows up more.
Your probably of late stressed being a teenager. your ok I'm solitary 10 and I have grey hair it is basically becoming older..
Stress Maybe .. I'm not sure just buy a mane dye. lb 5.00 Or $2.50 could be stress..
