Doctors midwives or nurses please HELP ASAP
Answers: It's impossible to make that determination by anyone other than your OB. Regardless of how heaps weeks you are, you should contact your OB (I'm assuming that you are under a doctor's care by the reality that you are on iron therapy and taking prenatal vitamins). If not, contact a clinic, Urgent Care Center or the hospital in which you plan to deliver. Any time during the course of your pregnancy, any unusual symptoms should be reported to your doc. Most of the time, it's really nothing other than your body's individual response to the pregnancy. If you do budge in for evaluation, you will be checked for signs of labor (they'll hook you up to a monitor) and perform a vaginal exam to check for signs of dilation and effacement as ably as possibly check for signs of infection if the doctor suspects this to be the cause of your current symptoms (as well as near the dreaded weigh in). They'll also monitor your BP to make sure that your pressure hasn't spiked (a sign of preeclampsia). Chances are, you are fine; however, no information obtained on the internet should ever be substituted for contact beside your physician. Good luck -- you may be a new mom by the time you end up reading these posts!
