I had a IUD inserted about a month ago and enjoy been experiancing wierd vaginal discharge and odor. I havent had sex at adjectives since I got it put in. The discharge is really delicate..the consistancy of water,but kinda yellow and greatly smelly. Not like a fish smelly but just gross smelly. I dont want to hold sex until I figure out what this is.

stir back to the doctor and get it check out...you dont want to mess around next to that stuff. you could just be paranoid but it doesnt hurt to check it out. It is very possible to entrap an infection during insertion. Also if the strings are to long you may snag some tissue on the strings and cause an infection
