Can I travel to the Gynecologist while i'm on my spell

I have an appointment tomorrow and its my first one ever but i started my period yesterday..is that a problem...should i reschedule? I am going to attain on birth control so will it matter if i'm on my period?

Answers:    progress after the periods ,.
You will probably need to reschedule the pap smear or pelvic exam.

However, since you are supposed to start birth control on the Sunday after you start your term, then it would suck to have to linger another month to start the pills. Call them and ask. They might have you come in to take you started on the BC, then have you come stern later for the pelvic/pap..
I dont think its going to be a problem. Just consent to the gyno know when you get there. I suggest wearing a tampon only in case she have to look down there. But no i dont think you own to reshedule. No, you can't have a Pap while on your period. Just call upon them up and let them know and you will be rescheduled. No big deal..
You may inform your gynaecologist in the order of the same and act appropriately as advised. You need to reschedule...When they do your pap you could gain false positives and visa versa...You hormone levels are all over the place...They will work out. .
call & reschedule Call up the doctor's office and tolerate them know. They will reschedule you.
.
It depends if she'll be 'examining' you or not. If so, then I'd call and reschedule.
