i want to have sex with my boyfriend but i definetly do not want to risk getting pregnant. so i be wondering if i could take one birth control pill like a couple hours in the past sex.. will that keep me okay>?

Answers:    The pill doesn't work that way!!

The pill works OVER TIME by using a regular and horizontal dose of hormones to inhibit ovulation. You can't just take one pill and expect it to be powerful. This is why if you take the pill CORRECTLY and miss even a single day you risk pregnancy!

Use condoms or -- better all the same -- don't have sex..
No, taking one birth control pill will not help prevent pregnancy.

When a woman begin taking birth control, it can take up to 3 months before it is influential in regulating hormones. It has to be taken at duplicate time every day during those three months for the maximum effectiveness. Taking one pill, in the future will do nothing for you.

If you want to have sex you should use a condom. A condom will prevent pregnancy. It will prevent STDs. It solely takes one sex session to possibly become pregnant or contract an STD. I mean, aside from HIV, AIDS, or pregnant, you could bring back Herpes which NEVER GOES AWAY.

You're boyfriend might complain that he doesn't like condoms. He might say it doesn't perceive the same. There are many condoms out within that are ultra thin or are extra lubricated or warm up when put on. Try them adjectives! You have to stand up for yourself on this one, do not let him parley you into having sex without a condom or using this birth control pill method you asked more or less.

If you don't want to get pregnant, put the condom on before his penis is close to your vagina. An erect penis emit pre-ejaculate which can get you pregnant. Having sex without a condom and "pulling out" beforehand he comes can get you pregnant. You being on top short a condom can get you pregnant. You get my point.

Use a condom. If neither of you can buy them because you're too humiliated then you shouldn't be having sex..
no this would be a huge risk!
you enjoy to have been taking them for awhile for them to be effectual enough to stop you from getting pregnant. Your body has to be contained by the cycle of the pill, or it will just be a waste of time.
Start taking the pill immediately and if you want to have sex use a condom, if not newly wait awhile till yourve been on the pill for awhile.
hope this help.
Absolutely *not*. That's a recipe for babies.

It's recommended that you do *not* have sex without line protection until you've been taking the pill regularly for more than a month... because it takes weeks for your hormones and your ovaries to draw from used to the new situation.

.
Absolutely NOT, no no no. Absolutely NOT. You have to thieve them for a month before you have sex, where on earth would you get this 1 pill from? If you take it from someone Else's box they run the risk of getting pregnant. That one birth control pill will keep you safe for up to 40 years so long as you do not grasp too close to an erect penis. That's all of the protection you would get by taking the one pill. .
NO!

You enjoy to take birth control continuesly so the hormones can build up in your body. Taking "1" pill won't do anything..
if you cant touch the consequences of sex you should not be having it. and NO one pill will not protect you.
