Breast size inherent?

I've heard breast size is hereditary. Is this statement true?
If so, how come I'm 16 beside a B cup and my mother and grandmother have DD's. Although my mother didn't have voluminous breasts till she was about 30.
Will mine grow?

Answers:    within some cases it is... and others not..

most women take after their grandma on their dads side.. thats how genetics work for some wierd pretext..

every woman in my family have at leats dd or e cups..
i didnt get dd till i was 17/18... surrounded by time u will get them
xo.
There is a study that suggests that young girls enjoy larger breast now ,because of the hormonesand steroids that farmers injected into dairy cows to make them larger and produce more hormone and steroid wringing wet milk , getting into the human causing larger breasts in younger and younger women. Add to this inherent and those babies could get huge.I am sure you`ll be fine.
Got Milk? You'll probably have to lurk a few more years to see. I have three sisters and we've all different sizes. I'm the oldest and I'm an A. My 18yr ripened sister is a C and my 15 year old sister is a D. My mom is also larger, and we all kid that I get my size from my dad. :(.
Nope it is not true, you only hold to look at families and compare them and see it is not at all true.
And yes yours will grow. you own to look on your dads side of the family too cause you can achieve your boobs from your ad as weird as that sounds.
you will still grow no its not true my mom have large breast i don't.
