Birth control vs Mirena ?
Answers: Im on mirena and love it, but if you havnt previously given birth good luck convincing a doctor to put you on mirena. It is an IUD inserted through your cervix (which is why the child birth thing...if you havnt done it later that cervix is awful tight and hard to get into). Its expensive, close to $500 but it lasts 5 years, so in the long run its cheaper, as long as you hang on to it in the whole 5 years. The solitary thing you need to do is check the strings every once contained by a while...which I havnt done in about 6 months...probably unpromising but o well. I have no side effects my interval is like a spot on my tissue paper when I wipe for a hours of daylight and thats it. Sexual intercourse is still normal, some peoples partners can quality the strings but the trick is to have the dr leave it longer so it only just gets pushed aside. Anyway, if you find that mirena is not for you definantly look into the ring. .
For myself i couldn't have picked a better agency. My periods have be a little off but not filling at all. Did not make me gain substance. Had it almost 4 1/2 years andi will most def get it again. You dont have to verbs about the pill.Good Luck!
