Birth control patch help out


ok im a liddle worried, i just started my orthro evra birth control patches, this is my 3rd week on it ( also my week free ) i took it past its sell-by date yesterday, ( sunday ) expecting a period today. i havent started yet. could i be pregnant? or is it my body newly adjusting? when should i expect a period, on time 7 i also should apply a new patch starting over again, should i start even if im on my period? i inevitability help !

Answers:    For the patch you should apply one each week. If it's your 3rd week you own had a patch on for 3 whole weeks right? You want one patch for 7 days, the second patch for 7 days, the third patch for 7 days, next the free week. If you did that correctly just wait. Often the patch make periods short, so you may not get a interval at all or it may come a few days after the patch has be off nothing to verbs about. You are most likely adjust unless you had unprotected sex before human being on the patch or during the time when it wasn't effective..
I have used the patch, and never have any problems with it,,, but I've had multiple friends who hold gotten pregnant even when using it correctly. If I were you, I would definetly switch to the pill. Plus, i've heard of heaps more complications with the patch.
But as far as starting the new patch. try a pregnancy exam, and if it comes up negative, just put the exotic patch on. If you want to try a new test at the expiration of the week, it is fine. Your body may just need to adjust to it.
