Birth Control and Acne ask
Thank you!
Answers: It's your hormones and its affect every women differently. I happen to hear good things in the region of the yasmin pill (hope the name is correct), 4 periods a year is great and some do not procure any side affect, try switching. You can also try Proactiv, it a great product but its expensive, but ancefree is cheap and works well. As for the back acne, Proactiv vend a body wash for body acne, where you can find cheap contained by websites like ebay or amazon. Hope this helps..
Yes, the problem is that the birth control is messing beside your hormones. You may want to tell your doctor within a month or two if it doesn't find better because your body may not mesh well with the hormone transform.
Also, if you dont use topical acne cleansers then start doing so. They work fine for most people (I use Avon and Neutrogena). Even if your acne is severe I wouldn't recommend you to ever use birth control beside prescription acne care. My friend did so this year and it really screwed with her hormones so much she suffered from depression..
Yes dawdle it out. Yaz is supposed to be better, but see if the cheaper product works before biting the financial bullet. Orthro Tri-cyclin works best for acne. I don't know much about the two brands you be using, but you could wait it out to see or talk to your doctor..
yaz worked great I hold terrible acne on my back and it cleared it up contained by about three months
