Anyone on YAZ the birth control pills?I am looking for birthcontrol for my hormonal acne.Does it work?
Answers: Before you start stuffing your body full of artifical hormones -- which can sometimes make the problem worse, not better -- consider trying OTC or prescription products. I've heard wonderful things more or less ProActiv acne treatment. And a dermatologist can also help you with treatment that agency.
I was on Yaz, and I frankly have VERY little honest to say about it. In reality, it GAVE me acne -- and I'd never had a pimple in my time! At the age of 40 I went from blemish free to teen-pimple-hell. It also caused hurt to my kidneys (just an FYI).
i like how the manufacturers shortened yasmin down to yaz, and made the commercial seem to be as if the characters were talking almost a friend and not birth control. the marketing was ingenious and i'm certain that it works, but it's a situation of preference in which pill you choose to come to blows acne. i hear, though, that ortho-evra is better for fighting acne. now, which one is better for birth control...? i guess, you'll want to choose one pill explicitly good for acne, birth control, and has few/no side effects.
Why am i breaking out? serve me!!?
