Birth control backing?!?
I started taking YAZ contained by early September. I'm on the 28-day pack, 24 days pink moving pills & 4 days inactive white pills.
September be the starter month, so things were a touch off, but Oct. & Nov. be like they be supposed to be--short and light near no problems.
But now, I own been completely period-less (not even spotting) for 3 months. I didn't own a period within Dec., Jan., or Feb. I have taken 4 pregnancy test & all are gloomy. And all the research I've done on Yaz say it lightens & shortens your period--not completely stops it.
I have be 110% reliable on taking my pills every day--I've never missed a one. When I called my gyno, her nurse said "it happen on low-dose birth control" but, like I said I've never found any Yaz research to spinal column that up.
Should I be concerned? or is this normal?
Thanks surrounded by advance
Answers: I hold heard of some women climax up getting no periods on birth controls resembling Yaz but I don't think it's highly common and resembling you I haven't read a lot nearly it. Did you actually speak to the gyno not the nurse? I would draw from her opinion on it instead of lately the nurse. But if they think it's no issue later I guess you either verbs with that or try a hot pill. It's possible your period might come final in the adjectives, because it's still in the first 6 months of you using the pill. Oh yeah and you might resembling to get the doctor to check for pregnancy too within case you are getting false negative or something.
Yasmin for one is a standard dose pill and up until at least 2004 be not recommended contained by parts of the UK. I no linger live in that so not sure if that's changed. Have you taken a pregnancy test? I am sure when you be prescribed the pill you were told that even though you meticulously pilfer your pills if you have a bout of sickness and or diarrhoea, or are taking unshakable other medications such as anti-biotics it decrease the efficacy of the pill. Make an appointment to go and see you Gynaecologist freshly to check everything is okay but do a pregnancy test first. It is common to have the pill be paid the period enormously light within flow to where the time of year is almost non-existent for some women, but I would recommend scheduling an appt to talk to the doctor directly to hold them evaluate this situation further to see what they say.
