When should the first length set off after pregnancy?

I gave birth to my kid on Jan 22nd, and was told by someone that my first length wouldn't start until after 6 weeks after her birth. This was my 2nd infant, but obviously every pregnancy is different.

I have a really bad cramp on my left side that spread, and immediately I'm bleeding like a spell and the pain is starting to help up... could it be my period 3.5 weeks following?

Answers:    most women bleed for weeks after they have their kid unless you are breast feeding. did you newly stop breast feeding. If you did explicitly normal post partum blood. If not , it is probably of late a normal spell.
There are lots of factors, approaching are you nursing? That can delay a spell for months and months if you nurse exclusively. Have you finished bleeding postpartum yet? yes it is 40 days, but for copious cases if you are continuously breast-feeding your baby it might start after six months.
