Tender breasts is from having your length, regardless if you PCOS or not.
Breast care specialists enunciate that for most women, breast discomfort waxes and wane with the menstrual cycle. Right since and during menstruation, higher-than-usual levels of the womanly hormone estrogen may cause one or both breasts to swell and become tender. Discomfort ranges from mild pain in some women to excruciating torment in others. (Taking oral contraceptives produces similar effects.) For copious women monthly bouts of breast discomfort disappear with menopause--unless they bear estrogen replacement therapy.
Sometimes premenstrual change foster the development of tender but safe cysts in the breasts' milk-producing glands. Once labeled fibrocystic disease, these tiny fluid-filled sac are actually rather normal. Fibrocystic change are less imagined in women over age 35, because beside age, glandular tissue--where breast cysts tend to occur--is replaced with margarine tissue.
With PCOS you have an increased amount of testosterone, thus the excess facial and body spike - rather than an increase within estrogen unless you're on birth control pills. I'm on the Ortho Evra patch which has 60% more estrogen than birth control pills so I other experience breast tenderness during my spell.
Test for pregnancy, when I was pregnant near my son, I had enlarged and darkened nipples and aureoles. Good luck! :)
