Mamogram? ulrtasound? cross-question?
Answers: A creature who does mammograms is a radiologic technologist (the proper term for a x-ray technologist) who have received additional training and license in mammography. You cannot do mammography lacking first being a RT. Once you enjoy your RT and additional license in mammography, you can be call a mammographer.
A person who does ultrasound is call an ultrasound technologist, sonographer or ultrasonographer. Most sonographers are first a RT, then do added schooling and licensing within ultrasound. You don't have to be a RT previously becoming a sonographer, but it can be very difficult to go and get into an ultrasound educational program lacking your RT license.
If you have other specific question, don't hesitate to update your initial ask. I have information more or less RT or ultrasound educational programs...
Usually they go to school to become a "radiological technician". But later they can branch off and do other things similar to Mammogram's. An ultrasound tech is different, it requires more schooling. Radiologist
