Birth control helllllllllppppppppppp!!...

kay im 14 yrs old and im considering on taking birth control but i don't want my parents to no because they will surmise that im sexually active but im really not i a moment ago want it so i can have regular period and get my frontage cleared up. so what if the people call for my parents?
what do they do to you when they put you on it how long will it take to find the pills?
please help

Answers:    First of adjectives, make sure you research birth control thoroughly. There are a great deal of different types of the pill, and different methods, like the shot (Depo Provera) or the patch, which work similarly to the pill.

I can't stress this adequate - if you are going to have sex, use condoms even if you are on the pill. 80% of populace will get a STI within their lifetime, and you could have one and not even own symptoms. Besides, on the pill you could still get pregnant. Nothing spells guilty to parents approaching B-A-B-Y.

At 14 you should be able to shift into a Planned Parenthood or Women's clinic and get a full exam to be exact completely confidential. PP does not call your parents, so don't verbs. You can also get any free birth control or reduced price (depends where you live, surrounded by Canada you can get different types of the pill for roughly speaking $10 a month) Eitherway, this stuff ain't typically free. Condoms, however, usually are.

The pill has side effects as capably as benefits. Read all the info given and help yourself to regularly. The clear skin benefit is subjective and depends on how bad your acne is.

Lastly, if you can't yak openly more or less sex and protection with your partner you should not be have it. I say this because I know women within their 20s who act irresponsible when it comes to sex. Sex is supposed to be pleasing - know your body and your limits and remember, no if truth be told means no.
If oyu are not taking the pill for b\c later talk to your mom, enjoy her take you to the gyno. You will hold to have a complete physical including a pelvic exam. It could be alittle intimidateing to dance by yourself. Your parents always find out give or take a few this stuff,{ trust me I tried to pull alot} within are alternitives to acne treatment other then the pill. If you are going to a loved ones planning clinic, they should be able to dispense u the pills that day. Confidentiality law very by state, so I dont know if they will telephone call parents or not. first of all, birth control is regularly used to clear skin and to regulate your period. i started taking it at 14. im 18 presently. so i think it would be okay if you explained to your parents because its definately adjectives but if they're the kind of parents who won't except this answer and still won't believe you're not have sex than you can go to planned motherliness and get birth control from them. they won't ring up your parents or anything. there are special boxes you can check on their forms dictum if they can contact you by phone/mail/etc. If you have a cell phone it would be polite to put that down instead. Also, I felt uneasy at the time too, and I in actual fact put a fake term. Wierd, I know, but it made me feel safer.. you know, newly in baggage. So that's a possibility too! Good luck I hope it all works out for you.
First bad if it is to regular your period you should collaborate to your parents about it. And you inevitability your parents okay to get birth control. Mmmmm.

There are a great deal of issues in your give somebody the third degree. First of all, you shouldn't transport birth control to clear your face. You should consult a dermatologist instead, who can prescribe drug (or maybe over the counter medication) for your specific problem. Otherwise, you risk making it worst. Skin safekeeping can be tricky, trust me on that.

Second, if your periods are really that irregular, what you should do is inform your mom and ask her to take you beside a gynecologist. He/she can figure out why your period are being irregular, and give somebody a lift whatever determine he/she considers opportune. It may be giving you hormones, but within special concentrations, or maybe you obligation something else. Sometimes irregular periods may be due to ovarian problems or so.

Talk to your mom, and dutiful luck.
