How do I ask my doctor for birth control for my cramps lacking my mom thinking its for sex?

Its really not gonna be for sex. I dont plan on having it anytime soon. I simply get unpromising cramps and i have legit a spell that lasts up to 10 days... im other tired, i feel resembling i can never have a break surrounded by my cycle. its horrible. and i have an appointment coming up and im 17 and im seeing an teenaged doctor, will it be easier to explain to her?? or will she just prescribe me midol (which doesn't lend a hand my cramps at all) like adjectives my other doctors in times past?

Answers:    Tell the doctor exactly what you've told us. Focus on your symptoms and how they make your duration difficult, instead of saying, "I suggest I should go on the Pill." If she suggests Midol, say-so you've already tried that, it doesn't help, and you would similar to to know what your other options are.

If the doctor decide to put you on the Pill, and you think your mom will be skeptical in the region of your motives, ask the doctor to talk next to your mom about it.

P.S.: You'll probably own better luck with guys within college. Hang in at hand.
I would just chat to your doctor about it if you would close to. And tell her that Midol doesn't work, hopefully she'll listen. You can win on a pill that will make your period shorter and lighter in tallying to helping with PMS. I can suppose how 10 day period would be exhausting. If your doctor agrees that the pill is best for you, and you are still worried what your mom will think, afterwards have your doctor discuss to your mom about it at your appointment. Talk to your doctor permit him know your symptoms. Most doctors will put you on something for that long of a period.
