I started my antibiotics yesterday, for a generally consciousness ill. I know the doctor say use extra protection ie condoms etc. But am i still meant to bear my pill everyday like majority as well as my antibiotics? Ive asked house and they say yeah but i dont want to risk it. Anyone give a hand?? Thanks xx

Answers:    Definately keep taking your pill. Antibiotics do interfere near bc pills that is why they right to be heard use other contraceptives. Finish your antibiotic course completely, take your bc pill every sunshine, and use a condom. Good question!

antibiotics halt the effects of ur birth control so make sure u use a backup method YES do not stop taking those pills! The solitary reason the doctor say use extra protection is because the antibiotics and the birth control cling to the same cell in your bdy and fray for control and the birth control usually losses. Keep taking the pill.You dont want to stop.Taking antibiotics lowers the strenght of the birt control pill USE A CONDOM. keep takin ur pill a moment ago use condoms as back up.
