i am on kariva birth control and breast fed for nearly a month and a half during my second month breastfeeding i begin birthcontrol and shortly stopped breastfeeding the first month i had some breakthrough bleeding i believe it stopped and during my placebo pills be still bleeding and had cramping so i thought it be a period i am noww on my second month of kariva bc and enjoy taken my placebos i have cramping impossible to tell apart day as second time only no term is this normal or should i be worried i have sex about a 2 weeks ago but we used extra strength spermacide along beside the birthcontrol should i be worried.

Answers:    Because you breast fed for almost two months exclusively I'm assuming than its moderately normal. I am sure the pill have nothing to do beside this issues.

My first child I breast fed for 6 months and I did not bring my period for another 6 months. I did not use birth control pills or other hormones though. BTW my period always be and now still are approaching clock work, breast feeding will do that.

My second child I breast feed for about 2 -3 months not exclusively. I be supplementing with formula becuase this dude be ALWAYS hungry and I could not keep up near him. I got my time about a month or two after I stopped. Again no hormones (Birth Control Pills).

If you don't grasp your period surrounded by a few more months than see a doctor. I wouldn't be to concerned.
