Answers:    Hello!

When under stress, regardless the adrenal glands are designed to bury the hormone cortisol, which has a direct impact on the sex hormones estrogen, progesterone, and DHEA. Eating disorders, dieting, drug use, and reliance on stimulants close to caffeine and alcohol are also interpreted by the body as kinds of stress. Poor nutrition seem to physically change the proteins surrounded by the brain so they can no longer send the proper signals for conventional ovulation.

So while it could be ANYTHING that is messing beside your period, stress unquestionably plays a factor...so stressing about where on earth your period have disappeared to ADDS to the irregularity of your period.
