Irregular periods, could be hurricane lantern or heavy. Hot flashes. Weight gain. Trouble sleeping. Dry mouth. Hot flashes, dark sweats, coldness
Irregular periods that can be hefty, light, shorter or longer cycles
Difficulty sleeping any getting to sleep or staying asleep
Mood changes, anxiety, depression, irritability

Symptoms include irregular / missed periods, possibly increasingly heavy, especially after a missed one. Additional bodily coat growth, including odd chin hair etc. Hot flushes / sweating, eg. when coming from the cold into a warm room as the hypothalmus is packed up as well. Mood swings, including depression and anger / rapid temper. Fluid retention, itchy skin . I'm within the same boat as you - trying to remember there's gotta be something to look forward to! You period of course will change, HOT HOT flashes that are not flashes at all but could closing for days. Mood swings, depression. I went through it adjectives years after I had a hysterectomy.
