Could it be a blighted ovum?
I just found out I be pregnant (first pregnancy) on Jan. 24th, that's when I took 3 HPT's and all come back +. Then Jan. 31st I go to the bathroom and found a very small trace of blood, no cramping but still get scared, go to the hospital to make sure everything be ok. Hospital did blood work and u/s (both vaginal & reg.) and said that sac was surrounded by Uterus and hcg levels be ok (5000), said I was in the region of 5 wks and told me to go to OB contained by a week. Went to OB and she did vag. u/s and said it didn't look like the sac be growing, said the sac only looked going on for 51/2 wks, but tested hcg levels and they be up from 5000 to 15000. My lmp was mid December and according to that date my OB said I should be further along, but she also said that going by lmp wasn't other that accurate. But according to my ovulation chart I didn't even ovulate until the beginning of January. I enjoy had no more bleeding since and no cramping. Could this be a blighted ovum or in recent times a miscalculation of dates?
