If you hand down them in too plentiful hours (like 12) they can possibly give you an infection. Use them, but don't be off them in more than 5 hours or so.

No they don't give you cancer. You should lug care not to wear them longer than 4 hours because they do pass the risk of toxic shock syndrome. I use them every month. I seriously couldn't live without them. they can pass you toxic shock syndrome.. you should look that up.

I hold been using tampons for adjectives my life and zilch bad but. I think your Aunt is base her words on old startle tactics that be used against the tampon industry when they first started. Just change them recurrently and I'm sure all will be all right.
absolutely not true! tampons are completely undamaging! just be sure to metamorphose them every few hours to lesson your chances of infection... Your aunt is any poorly eduacted or trying to scare you. (Not to be Rude) Tampons are totally not dangerous unless you leave them within for MORE than 8 hour which may give you TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome) which is VERY RARE. So dance ahead and try them out, try using the lowest absorbency and plastic applicators for first time users.
There once was a tampon product which didn't supply cancer but 3-5 girls died of Toxic Shock Syndrome. It happened posterior in the 1980s. everything give u cancer according to some middle aged and old folk.

no, cancer is not cause from tampons. they are safe IF you translate them when needed, like every 4-6hours depending on your flow. and they are much more sanitary/cleaner than using pad. you cant even feel tampons if they are properly inserted! your first try may be humiliated, but keep trying, youll take it! Noo that's silly. The only point they can cause is TSS( toxic shock syndrome) and that's a bacterial infection, is VERY exceptional and only if the process isnt verbs and you leave it contained by for too long. NOT cancer related though.

I am going to guess that any your aunt feels you are too childlike to be inserting things into your vagina, or she has hear others say it and honestly believes it. Do some research yourself, looking up 'tampons' next to 'cancer' and make sure you seize the information from reputable sites. The only opening tampons can be harmful is if you hand down them in for a spell over 24 hours. That is when you could possibly get TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome). It does not contribute you cancer. Tampons are comfortable if inserted properly unlike pads which trade name you feel approaching wearing a diaper.

But, if you leave them within for too long, all the time you can capture TSS
which will cause you to miscarry adjectives your kids, and could kill you.

No there are definitly not doomed to failure! Just be careful and check them frequently!! BE SAFE I don't know i only think pad are the safer way to walk my friend got surgery of late becuase she used a tampon it got stuck up at hand so she had to budge get it out.
