Question going on for acetaminophen and birth control pills?
Answers: Acetaminophen's worth may be decreased if you appropriate it while you are on the pill. It may also raise the hormone level in your blood from the pill. However: "Acetaminophen and oral contraceptives may be used together beside little or no risk."

That pamphlet probably refers to the overuse of acetaminophen while on Aviane. You probably wouldn't want to take deeply of Tylenol every day while you're on the pill, but taking Midol during your period should be fine, and shouldn't reduce thie pill's usefulness. Pain relievers that block prostaglandins (Advil, Aleve) may be more effective against cramping, though--especially if you open taking them the day until that time your cramps start.
Antibiotics and St. John's Wort are the most commonly-used medications that can drain the effectiveness of birth control pills. Be sure to relay any doctor you're using an oral contraceptive before he/she writes a prescription for you.
