For anyone beside p.c.o.s., what dosage of metformin do you thieve?

I am only on 500mg per afternoon, and it is not helping. I read that maybe it should be more. I be wondering what the norm was.

Answers:    I discern like your dosage is up to your doctor to want, but you should definitely permit he/she know if you feel that metformin isn't helping your symptoms. If you've only just started, your doctor may be trying to ease you into the tablets, since it has be shown to cause nausea and other intestinal upsets.

In response to your quiz, though, I take 2000mg of metformin each day (two 500mg tablets in the morning, and two at hours of darkness.)
