when doing a pap smear can they determine if ur sexually active?I don't want my moms to know, and do they hurt

Answers:    they aren't going to relate your mum that you are sexually active.and if youre have sex then no a paps wont hurt
They don't hurt. Just don't be too stressed. My ob/gyn is great, she tries real tricky to make you as comfortable as you can be at a dr. department. It's a little tingle but it last for half a second and you're adjectives done. As far as the sexually active, I'm not too sure. I'm sure someone will comment and explain to you. I didn't get my first pap until I be 18 even though I was sexually moving prior. Once you reach 18 they, BY LAW, cannot consult that near your parents. Just go surrounded by there, relax, and to give support to ease yourself simply think that every other sexually helpful woman in america does what you're doing. So it can't be THAT doomed to failure :) They are not as scary as they nouns. The doctor will lubricate the speculum so all you be aware of is pressure. When they use the brush to collect cervical cells you may perceive a strange sensation in your lower tummy but nothing raw. Best of all, the entire pap smear take about 30 second.

The doctor will only be capable of tell if you are sexually alive if your hymen is broken or not. However, many girls break their hymen short even having intercourse. The doctor will not announce that you enjoy had sex or anything, but will ask you for a sexual history past performing a pap. Just ask to be alone with the nurse or doctor during this factor.
If you're under 18, they will still ask you if you want your mom surrounded by the room while they do it. You can say no (but that might seem to be a little curious to your mother).

And yes, they can tell if you're sexually influential (even if you say no).
No, they cannot recount if you are sexually active. They do not hurt at adjectives. It is just alittle mortified your first time having the doctor adjectives up in your business if you know what I indicate. Good luck!
