i am going for a cavity check in a week and i want to know what its resembling. please help

Answers:    the dentist basically takes a sharp metal dental tool & pokes your teeth. if you own a cavity, it will feel soft to the dentist. if you don't enjoy any cavities, the tooth will be rugged.
if you have a cavity & own to have it jam-packed, they give you shots of novacaine contained by the mouth and then drill & saturate. i have a mouth FULL of silver filling, but i think within this day & age they use white wadding stuff.
