Alesse and Hypermenorrhea??

I was lately wondering if anyone else has experienced hypermenorrhea after stopping alesse birth control and how long it last? It's been 2 weeks solid, and getting worse. Does anyone hold any advice for this situation? (Going to my physician isn't an route for at least 2 weeks as I own no transportation)

Answers:    Ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel contains a combination of female hormones that prevent ovulation (the release of an egg from an ovary). This medication also cause changes within your cervical mucus and uterine lining, making it harder for sperm to accomplish the uterus and harder for a fertilized egg to attach to the uterus.

It is probably the effects of the medicine wearing past its sell-by date and your body going back to middle-of-the-road.
