Metformin for PCOS?

My doctor have just this minute prescribed me Metformin for my PCOS to help out regulate my cycle..
I started taking this drug July 27th, the first two days of taking the drug i feel fine lately have a bit headache the second sunshine, but the final two days i enjoy have nausea adjectives time long and some diarrhea, i know these side effects are commonplace, but is it commonplace to later adjectives time long for two days surrounded by a row?
My doc have me taking 500mm 3x a morning...I also looked-for to know when exactly to give somebody a lift it similar to is nearby a time frame? I help yourself to mine ever 71/2 to 8 hours? Like i'll run one at 7a.m afterwards i'll rob another at 3p.m, afterwards again at 11p.m? Should they be spaced so far apart? Or should i bear later a bit closer together?
I be simply put on to serve regulate my cycle and possibly restore fertility ( hubby and i enjoy be trying for over a year), i DO NOT suffer from excess facial/body spike, stoutness, solidity gain (im a idyllic cargo 5'2-5'3 and i weigh 107-108lbs)?please help

I don't work out how metformin is supposed to regulate your cycle. Metformin is a diabetes medication. I'm sure it is helping next to the insulin resistance that comes beside PCOS, but I don't meditate it works to regulate your cycle, you would entail hormones for that.
