Hi, I am 33 years ago and be suffering from brown spotting for over a month. I go to my gyn today and he did the pelvic exam. He said that everything appears to be run of the mill and needed to pass me hormone pills. I'm within the process of getting pregnant so I really want to stay away from bc bills. However, I am dying to know what's wrong near me. I already have another dr perform the pelvic exam and blood oral exam and also pelvic ultrasound. They adjectives come fund commonplace. However, I want a second feelings so i go to him and I request transvaginal ultrasound because i be told it give you more detail. But afterwards he told me that it's useless because he already checked my pelvic and it seem ok. He can't be aware of any cysts or fibroids He told me that he can proclaim biopsy for me to see if near's any remarkable cell. My examine is can cysts and fibroids or even polyps detect from pelvic exam? I hear lots of empire found out from ultrasound but not pelvic exam. Please help

Yes, sometimes cysts and fibroids can be feel on a pelvic exam but not other.

I have a cyst within 2002/2003 and my doctor feel a mass after I told her I feel something. Well, when I go to hold an ultrasound done it didn't show anything. It wasn't til I have surgery that after we know what the mass be: a functional cyst.

I've also have a polyp beforehand, contained by 1999 and my doctor found that via a pelvic exam as in good health. I don't know how big it be but I have it removed right nearby surrounded by the department.

I would recommend getting an extramural judgment preferably from someone not within the organization of the doctor you newly saw, also natter to your primary watchfulness physician to see if they will distribute you for the transvaginal ultrasound.

The two ways to examine repeatedly work together to try and find out what's going on. Also, next to an ultrasound they can check the inside layer of the uterus to see if it's too tacky or too diluted.

Also, ask your doctor if he took cultures to check for infection. Sometimes infections can grounds bleeding as okay. Infections such as cervical infections can also motive bleeding similar to what you are describing.

Sometimes it take a 3rd or 4th feelings to try and find out what's wrong.
