Have any of you been on Ortho Tri Cyclen Birth Control Pills? If so, did it make you spot?

I used this pill when I be 16 and after I get past its sell-by date of it for 4 years. I am immediately subsidise on it and I hold freshly started the colored pills and I am spotting shady brown blood. I considered necessary to find out if this be mundane. Thanks.
