It depends. If you are merely getting your period i would suggest pad but once you have have you period for a year or so i read aloud go for tampons! But really its anything you feel comfortable beside.

I personally approaching the tampons because it is clean and comfortable. but it adjectives depends on how comfortable you will be. You must remember to change every 4-6 hours if you agree on to go this be. It is easy to put onpads are more comfortable than tampons, but tampons save you safe so u want filter , u know?

tampons are def more convenient, however, i reccommend using pad at home. TSS is only a result of tampon use, so if it isn't obligatory you may want to opt out of them when just mortal bummy at home.
