While in the first few years of your period you should expect an unusual and erratic flow, period length, etc., fourteen days is exceptionally long and I would reccomend going to see your doctor near your mother. Explain your situation to her. She will better know what to do.
Also, if this happens subsequent on with another length, you might want to take iron pills.

Having periods that ending longer than 5-7 days is extremely dangerous to your condition. Inform your doctor of this. (S)he will question you as to the burden of bleeding, etc. The heavier the bleeding and the longer the period, the more menace of anemia.
