HPV? Looking for answers.?

My doctor called this morning and told me that my lab results come back positive for HPV. I hold been have numerous problems in the recent past such as UTI's, & Bacterial Vaginosis. Does HPV cause these things, and what exactly am I to expect human being that I have it? My discharge is impressive right now and have been for former times 2 days. Do I need to do anything differently? Please comfort, I feel resembling this may be ruining my life.

I just found out 3 weeks ago that I hold HPV...and I think it's unnatural because I had bacterial vaginosis and I do bring UTI's a lot...unnatural...but I got the UTI's formerly I was diagnosed.

You can hunt and search and force out for answers but nothing will get you feel better right presently...I should know...I'm so terrified...I'm within the midsts of losing my bf because of this...and I'm just upset as heck.

The colposcopy really isn't that bad...if they confer you the pain killer. It just feel like a pinch and you will grain like you hold a cramp (like you would during a period) for a few days. They will put liquid bandaid on it to protect it and you will procure discarge that is kinda a black color...don't verbs...it's normal. It's in recent times the liquid bandaid. What my doctor is hoping is going to take place is that when my body goes to make well my little...well...scratch on the cervix I think you can give the name it...that my body will notice that "Hey.this isn't supposed to be here" and try and alleviate the infection. She said it will take 8 months to a year if my body decide to do this. You can take immune boosters and adjectives to help you.

Just to bring in yourself feel better...at smallest this did for me...HPV is VERY VERY VERY common. It's so adjectives in certainty that dogs get it. Every creature on this planet will get HPV at one time or another...it purely all depends on what kindly of strand it is...most people obtain it but their body treats it like a virus (like it would a cold) and draw from rid of it. There are hundreds of strains of HPV but only a exceptionally slight few (few meaning perchance 3) cause cancer and merely 2 of them cause genitle wart (which I'm waiting to get my test back from my colposcopy end week...and I'm hoping I don't have this one).

Look it up...ask question...this is the only point that has help me calm down.

There are so abundant strains of HPV, it really helps to know which strain or strains you hold. There are only positive ones that cause trunk problems such as dysplasia (bad pap smear and can lead to cervical cancer). Some strains are associated next to genital warts although a creature can have that strain and never receive any. Most people sexually involved people are exposed to it at some point int their natural life. What you need to do different is to read as much info on it as you can and stop worrying. You're Dr. have seen the results and will probably know the best route to pocket depending on the strain. There is no vaccine yet, if you are already infected.

Just wanted to convey you that I am in indistinguishable boat. I just found out I own HPV and my dr. has planned a colposcopy for July 23rd, of which I am terrified. I too hold been have some bad yeast infections (sometimes for months at a time). IN reality, I have one right very soon, I am feel similar to I am really raw and swollen. There have been a tiny bit of blood when I wipe b/c I am so coarse. Are you having this too?
