Um.. do i have a yeast infection? girls with the sole purpose ?

hi.. um is it normal for a 14 yr weak to get a yeast infection?
im not really sure what it is but i've be seeing white in my underwear.
i really dont know what to do
should i tell my mom more or less it... that would be kinda embarassing..
