How long does it take for your body to get better after a Caesarian?

I had an emergency caesarian within Decemer 2006, and Im still having trouble bending and lifting stuff. Being intimate beside my husband still hurts and I have no inkling whatsoever around the scar/stomach area. Is this conventional?

I think you should check beside your doctor. I've had two, the first an emergency, the second be planned. With the second, it only took a few days until I be feeling better, but beside the first (the emergency) it took longer, but not 6 months.

My sister, had a Cesarean screened-off area, and it took at least a month or two to capture better. You should go to the Doctor and transmit him what is happening. Do not WAIT!

I had an emergency caesarian copious years ago. I recovered fairly speedily and was really able to pull and bend within 6 months. I would suggest a look in to your doctor. Don't wait any longer. For me it would not be average to have no notion around the scar/stomach area. Even after adjectives these years my scar can sometimes itch similar to crazy.

i had a planned cesarean contained by sept and emergancy in 1997,the one i have in 06 it took around 3mths for me to start premonition well again,but this is usually the time the form visitors communicate you to wait to erect n stuff.Remember this is major surgery and i don,t feel anyone can put a time limit on how fast you recover,adjectives womens bodies are differant.But the one i had contained by 1997,i,ve always have numbness from my scarring right up till my last one,and immediately its still numb.As far as sex is concerned i find some positions i used to like next to my partner are now scratchy,but i,ve had tryout after test and everything comes final normal.and am told that things down below can move or switch ie pelvis,but also can be a mind thing,similar to if you think sex is going to hurt your body tenses and sex does hurt.
But to put your mind at rest speak to your strength visitor or doctor,he will probably do some test in casing of infection.I think this will back put ur mind to rest.

Whats a clitterus?

i have have 3 c sectons, 2 emergency n 1 planned n have also have a hernia repair thro the same mark. Last surgery was almost 2 yrs ago n my defect is still numb, probably bout 2 inches either side of it as ably. I would seek guidance from ur gp about the intimacy n lifting issues tho to check that adjectives is ok. I had post operative problems near all my surgery but be still back to relative normality inside a few months. We are all individuals tho n make well n recover at different rates
