Exercise Help!?

What is the best ab work out.. I am trying 2 lose my gut.. haha.. && I can't do sit ups due 2 a back injury.. so what would aid OTHER THAN SIT UPS.. my stomach/waist in shape? Please HELPPPPP!

The Bicycle exercise is the best move to target the rectus abdominis (i.e., the 'six pack') and the obliques (the waist).
To do this exercise correctly:

1. Lie frontage up on the floor and lace your fingers behind your skipper.
2. Bring the knees in towards the chest and lift the shoulder blades stale the ground without pulling on the nouns.
3. Straight the left leg out to going on for a 45-degree angle while simultaneously turning the upper body to the right, bringing the left elbow towards the right knees.
4. Switch sides, bringing the right elbow towards the left knees.
5. Continue alternating sides in a 'pedaling' motion for 12-16 reps.
