They say to filch the pill at exactly the same time every year. Well, today I overslept and took it about 7 hours after I usually do. Is this rationale for concern?

I don't construe it's a real big agreement. I have a varying work calendar and the time I take it vary a bit day to time. Missing a few hours shouldn't do anything to worry you. They suggest taking it indistinguishable time every day because it help to keep the hormone level even all the time. I've be on the pill for years and haven't had any issues because of the time of afternoon changing a bit.
